.. sorry about my little soap box deal yesterday. After looking over it lastnight, I realized I was a bit,.. ooh, let's just say, harsh.. *laughs* I mean, I could've been nicer about it.. but, well, I'm a nice person with bitch tendancies.. *laughs*
Well, officially, today is the last day of summer, and I must say, I'm a bit excited. Sure, I love summers. That whole freedom thing that you get from school and what not. But, there is just something so amazing about fall.. oh yes, there is. And winter. I can't wait!! :) I just hope it doesn't take as long for it to get cold as it has in the past few years.. it would be really really nice if Halloween was a bit nippy.. not too cold, not too hot.. just perfect enough not to hate going from house to house for the kiddos.. or enjoying the parties I plan on attending..
.. I don't know, tho. Last year, it was horrible. It was too damn hot for my taste on halloween.. and there was one Halloween where it was soo hot that I just decided not to go anywhere on Halloween.. just chill in the house, passing out candy to the kiddos. Tho, there have been some very very cold Halloweens. I mean, a few years back,I remember freezing my booty off.. but, I loved it. I'm pretty sure it was the night of the performance of Dracula at the highschool.. it was just perfect in my eyes..
.. I'll miss the summer. It was pretty fun.. sure, I've had some amazing summers far more interesting then this one.. but this summer had it's own amazing moments.. times and memories that I will never ever forget..
.. so long sweet summer..
*good song as well as very truthful statement*
But, aside from the summer leaving us behind, lastnight I went a bit on a rampage...
.. and, no, I didn't kill anyone JASON!!!!!
I was doing a little "window" shopping on the interent.. now, I didn't buy anything, because if I did, one might think I've gone nuts, esp once you find out what I was looking at..
.. Let me give you a bit of a background to why I suddenly felt the need to window shop for items I was looking at lastnight..
I was browsing diaries lastnight, and I just so happened to stumble upon someone's website.. she just recently got married, and I was looking at her beautiful photos.. I was reading her hectic "day before the wedding" story and then the perfect "day of the wedding" story.. and I just.. well, got a bit.. umm.. what's that word where you feel the need you have to look at wedding stuff.. wedding stuff for your future wedding?!
.. yea, well, that's what I did. Went window shopping for rings, wedding cakes, gowns, bridesmaid dresses..
Now, if you talk to jason (I'd link him, but I'm lazy today, but it's jason75.diaryland.com) he'll tell you I've gone nuts.. just completely nuts since I'm not even dating anyone or interested in anyone at all (well, I'm always INTERESTED in someone.. but, you know what I mean).. basically, he'll tell you I have the wedding planned completely.. BUT I HAVE ONE THING MISSING! :)
.. the groom..
according to him, tho, he'd fill in for that part easily..
*laughs*
But that's not the point.
.. the point I want to make here is that all girls do this. They have this need to go to wedding stores or wedding websites and plan EVERYTHING from the dress to the photographer.. it's just this need..
Occasionally, when I'm done and out, looking at engagement rings seem to get me back in the groove. Back to feeling like "hey, guys really don't suck ass alll the time.. they really know how to pick out some amazing rings.."
Soo... lastnight, I was actually completely satisfied with what I was doing. I enjoyed it immensely. I must say, tho, I think I started something with it.
.. a lot of my friend started looking at websites lastnight.
.. all thanks to that woman! I wish I could remember her diaryland name.. I'd link her! :)
So, yes, from what I've come away with this whole thing, I've realized that all women do this.. not just me. It scared Jason a bit, thinking that while he was dating a few of his then girl friends, they were looking at engagement rings, in hopes to marry the infamous Jason! ;)
..scares ya, huh, Jason!? :)
But yes, I've enjoyed it actually. I think I do have everything planned. It's subject to change, but as I've noticed, when I like something, I usually stick with it.
.. well, I gotta go. I'll talk to you guys later.. :)
